I loved the quote you used because it is very much true. When I saw my community being the target of social injustice, I became more aware of the way we were treated, and ways to prevent this. I liked how you used personal experiences to further prove this point you brought up.

I liked how you touched on the difference between equity and equality. Many people associate social justice with equality when it is really equity that is needed in our world. For example: if a person with an amputated leg and a person with two legs both get a prosthetic leg, that is an example of equality, and we know that they both do not need it. However, if you give the prosthetic leg to just the person with an amputated leg,this is an example of equity, which is what we need in the real world.

I liked how you were able to personally connect with each topic you wrote about. With you being able to connect to what you are writing about, it gives more passion to your essay and makes it more interesting.

I like how you used a social worker to speak on their definition of social justice. I like how you talked about making the world better physically by giving ways to improve your living conditions.

I liked how in the introduction you used modern examples of how society has its issues, then included it in your essay. I like how you choose gun violence as a topic for your essay, because anyone of any background can be a victim to gun violence, yet there have been no laws against guns yet.

I liked how you used When I Was Puerto Rican to talk about social justice. I like that you described a way of achieving social justice can be through small free acts of just a small kind comment. I also liked how before saying what social justice meant to you, you used the opinion of social justice to a majority as well.

I liked how you had more than one definition as to what social justice meant to you personally. I like how you used equity instead of equality to talk about taking a step in the right direction towards social justice. I also liked how you used being educated or taught about these topics could lead us in the direction of achieving social justice as well.

I like how you used many different settings to talk about social justice. You used fiction, personal experiences, and other real world experiences.I liked how in your conclusion you acknowledged the fact that social injustice will always be a parent and that everyone needs to work towards bringing more justice than injustice in our society.

I like how this essay touched on not only society issues in the United States, but the societal issues internationally. I liked how you used opposition to show how social justice can be seen when there is injustice. Overall, I think this is a strong essay with a great idea that is carried throughout the essay to the conclusion.

I liked the way that you interpreted social justice in the introduction, and how you showed how this plays a part in society. I think your second paragraph has a strong foundation,but it feels unfinished. I think your essay started off strong, you just need to finish your thoughts in the second paragraph.
