Early Animalism & Hidden Corruption (Ch. 3–4) – animals work together, but pigs already take leadership perks; battle of the Cowshed shows early heroism and Napoleon/Snowball tension.

Power Struggle & Totalitarian Turn (Ch. 5–6) – Snowball vs. Napoleon, expulsion of Snowball, rise of the dogs, Squealer’s propaganda, and the first obvious betrayals of the commandments.
Terror, Scapegoats, and Broken Ideals (Ch. 7–8) – famine, hens’ rebellion, confessions and executions, more rewriting of history, and Napoleon’s elevation into a cult-of-personality.
Final Betrayal & Human-Pig Merger (Ch. 9–10) – Boxer’s fate, deepening poverty of the animals, total erasure of original commandments, and the closing scene where pigs and humans are indistinguishable.
