The recommendations of the Working Group are as follows:
In an effort to more effectively prevent and treat mental health issues within the USHE system, assess and, if needed, modify educational standards for faculty, staff, and students. The goal of the standards should be to increase the ability of these groups to identify mental health issues and to refer students to appropriate mental health resources, as needed.

This seems like it could be a good way to approach the issue facing the mh crisis, but maybe ensuring its consistency and standardization could be beneficial

I think that this is especially crucial because of the amount of time students see teachers at school, as in a college setting they can be one of the first people to notice signs of mental health struggles in students.
