Did your parents or guardians influence you — or did your friends, a teacher or your church play a more crucial role?

Do you remember any local, national or global events that galvanized you, whether a neighborhood protest of some sort or a major global story on the news?

Have your views changed over time? If so, how? What — or who — do you think has influenced them?

If you watched the video, read the articles or took the Political Typography Quiz above, did you see yourself in any of the research or stories? Did anything surprise you? If so, what?

How do you think your identity affects how you see specific political issues today? For instance, what issues in the 2024 presidential election do you feel strongly about, and why?

Your political identity is being formed right now. What do you think are the most significant factors in shaping your beliefs?
