As a 10th grader, social justice is the fairness and equality in the world around me, especially in things I encounter daily, like school,relationships,news or public transportation. It would likely mean making sure that everyone, no matter their background, is treated fairly and has the same opportunities whether that's in education, with their rights, or how they’re seen by others. It could also be about standing up against bullying, racism, or any form of discrimination, or violence that I might witness in school, online or any other place.
“It’s about time we women had a voice in running our country”. By las hermanas mirabal also called “the butterflies”. I chose this quote because it was written by womens who died fighting for the revolution against dictator trujillo and show a great impact in women's history. Their assassinations turned the mirabal sisters into “ symbols of both popular and feminist resistance.” In 1999, in honor, the United Nations general assembly designated 25 November as the international Day for the elimination of violence against women. .Me as a young lady this affect me in a lots of way for example by making feel unsafe in any place, alway looking back
This quote by Las Hermanas Mirabal, “It’s about time we women had a voice in running our country.” really resonates with me right now, as there is currently a woman running for president, while the other candidate is trying to remove a woman’s right to have an abortion

I liked the way that you interpreted social justice in the introduction, and how you showed how this plays a part in society. I think your second paragraph has a strong foundation,but it feels unfinished. I think your essay started off strong, you just need to finish your thoughts in the second paragraph.
