Donald Trump said things like, "You will no longer think about abortion," or his giving himself the title of women's "protector" shows that he doesn't take this seriously. These statistics represent how important it is to have the option of abortions, etc. to victims or people at high risk of death from pregnancy so they feel that they still have some control over their lives.
With VP Harris and Governor Walz in office, women can regain control over their lives. VP Kamala Harris says she wants to "reinstate the protections of Roe." Which would prohibit states from banning abortions before fetal viability (around 20 weeks). She shows her support for women on many occasions. Her support of reproductive rights opened doors for a better America with her election.
