Judging Leadership
The presidential debate is a very important moment for judging leadership. In the debate Donald Trump’s political actions were brought to light revealing fraught with concerns about accountability and integrity. Vice president Kamala Harris’s leadership on the other hand was presented as a step forward for us, pointing out the need for a leader that cares about us and that addresses the challenges in our community and country. Also the issues that matter to me most is how the presidents will help our country and improve it. This connects to me because I live here in this country and there are people I care about and I want them to have a good life.
A couple of important topics brought up in the debate was the discussion surrounding Trump’s political actions. Others pointed to Trump's management of nuclear weapons conversations, saying that his closeness to the White House presented serious dangers. Trump's rash choices raised concerns because some people think they threaten the community and world safety. According to reports, a number of Trump's previous secretaries stated concerns about his possible comeback to power, citing concerns that his unpredictable nature would have negative effects. Throughout the discussion, Trump frequently avoided answering pointed questions regarding the actions of his own team, showing this concern. His habit for ignoring responsibilities created concerns since voters prefer leaders who address problems directly rather than sidestep or ignore them. In addition to losing confidence, this fails to address important national security issues.
Finally, A Important perspective when trying to judge political leadership is seen through the presidential debate. Kamala Harris's leadership was recognized as a potential alternative that highlights responsible and informed leadership, despite the fact that Trump's actions created serious questions about his suitability for office. These leaders' different strategies emphasize how crucial it is to judge political leaders by their deeds and policies, mainly in emergencies. As citizens, we must actively engage in political conversations in order to shape a future where honesty and responsibility are valued.
