What are the biggest challenges young people face in our community?
In these sources I learned that Social Media is a huge challenge that young people face in our community right now. Social media creates challenges for young people in this community affecting their mental health, academic performance and social lives. It contributes to anxiety, depression through constant comparisons and exposure to cyberbullying. Being on social media too much also disrupts our focus and time management, which plays a part in classroom struggles. These challenges show us how social media plays a huge part in the challenges young people face in our community.
