The Halftime show yesterday was by far one of the most AMAZING halftime shows in a long time. I put his performance up there next to Rihanna's performance a couple of years ago. I love Kenrick Lamar and I truly think that he's a musical genius. The thought that he put into the performance showed yesterday, from Samuel L Jackson dressing up as Uncle Sam, down to the controversy in his song choices showed that he really wanted to give us a show. "Uncle Sam's" use of words during the show was very poignant and if you paid attention, you could see what he was talking about. At first, I thought that his dancers were dressing up in red, white, and blue just because the president was there. At first, I thought that he was paying homage to him being there, but now I know I was way off. "Uncle Sam," said that they (the dancers and him) were "too loud, too reckless, too ghetto" and reminded him to just "play the game". This Super Bowl by far was one of the greatest I've ever watched. I love it when things have a deeper meaning than what they seem to the naked eye. You have to really understand and really understand what happens in America on a regular daily basis to understand where Kendrick's mind was with this performance.
