Millions of people watch the Super Bowl each year, not only for the game but also for the long-awaited ads. Commercials for the Super Bowl have grown into an iconic event in and of itself, attracting the attention of pop culture fans, businesses, and even those who might not otherwise watch football. These commercials are different from your typical commercial break because they include humor, celebrity approval, emotional appeal, and sometimes even controversy.
Personally, my favorite commercial was the Lays chip commercial. I enjoyed this one because in the commercial, it shows a girl planting a potato. not only did she just plant the potato, but she took care of it like it was a brother or a sister. She made sure the plant did not get hurt, and stayed outside with it, all the way until it grew into a potato. Then, she gave it to the truck driver who delivered the potatoes to the Lays factory. this made me happy to see the girl's hard work and effort go to something. and I liked how Lays uses homegrown potatoes.
Now, my least favorite commercial was the Little Ceasers commercial. It rubbed me the wrong way. i did not like how the mustache was flying everywhere and it looked disturbing to me. I pictured it as a really hairy insect and I did not enjoy that one bit. The Pringles commercial did the same thing and I didn't enjoy that one either. Another one I didn't like was the coffee cream commercial with the tongue dancing. it seemed very weird and unnecessary.
