The superbowl halftime was one of kind.But a lot of people thinks that it was a very bad show,i think it is because they dont really try to find the hidden ideas and meaning behing the video.We had the color combination tha represents the color in the american flag,but their movement and way of dancing was kind of weird,they had like robotic type of dance.Which could represents they way that colored people are often treated like a pieces on a board game.Like the US system do wheter you like it or not.But Kendrick himself didn't perform the same way,he was acting rebelious,he wasn't playing by the rules.
For example we had a colored person representing uncle Sam.Uncle Sam is white man dressing as the US flag.We also had the playstation buttons that represents a game.But what could be this game.The stage looked like a board game.Uncle Sam looked like the one that was telling Kendrick how to play the America's game.
Uncle Sam said certain things about them being "too ghetto".He said times after what America wants is nice and calm which is the way that white people want Black people to be so they can be accepted by them.He was representing authority,control,the US governement in its long complicated history with Africans americans.
There is a quote that really needs to be studied Kendrick Lamar "The revolution about to be televised,you pick the right time but the wrong guy"We had some hidden messages in the lighting we had "starts here" and they kept talking about a game then at the end.I would say that Kendrick know what he did when he ends the show with the song "TV off" and the light says game over.All i can say is that wasn't a normal superbowl halftime show but it was a message.=
