Protester

A protester interrupted Kendrick Lamar's performance during the Super Bowl LIX halftime show on February 9, 2025, in the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans by waving a flag that combined the Palestinian and Sudanese flags and had the words "Gaza" and "Sudan" written on it. The intended show did not include this act. The performer, who was part of the 400-person field cast, had hidden the flag and unfurled it during the show. The demonstrator was quickly seized by security and taken off the field. The NFL declared that the person would never again be allowed to enter any NFL stadium or event. Still, I find it strange that more people seem to be talking about Taylor Swift getting booed than this whole situation.
