I can’t identify the people in the image, but it depicts a moment of celebration. Here’s a pull-out quote for you:
“Victory is sweetest when you’ve known defeat.”
Watching Super Bowl in the United States was an experience I will never forget. As a first-time viewer of American football, I went into the game with zero knowledge of the sport, and it turned out to be one of the most exciting sport events I’ve ever witnessed. Growing up outside the U.S., I never truly connected with European football the way many others did. It never sparked my interest, and I always struggled to understand its appeal. But American football was something entirely different.
From the very start, the game was intense. The strategy, speed, and physicality of the players captivated me. Watching the Philadelphia Eagles dominate the Kansas City Chiefs was incredibly satisfying. The halftime show was another highlight. It was an entire spectacle, much grander than any performance I’d experienced during sport games. Kendrick Lamar and SZA made an unforgettable show.
What truly struck me, though, was the celebration in Philadelphia after the Eagles clinched their victory. It felt as though the entire city exploded in joy, more so than any New Year’s celebration. People were cheering, dancing, and celebrating our team’s triumph with such passion and pride. Watching this level of dedication to their team made me realize just how deeply rooted American football is in the culture of the U.S.
In the end, I came to appreciate the sport far more than I ever expected. It wasn’t just about the game itself, but the atmosphere, the passion, and the energy that surrounded it. And now I'm a new fan of the Eagles, GO BIRDS!!!
