"It's losing.
Failure has to be used as a source of pain to go take that next step... It's human nature to be ignited by shortcomings .
It's a natural thing."
- Jalen Hurts.
Throughout his whole career, Jalen Hurts has constantly been doubted. "Not a franchise Quarterback" & "I don't think Jalen Hurts is gonna lead Philadelphia or any NFL organization to a Super Bowl" All the negativty and he was the only one who never doubted himself. A path forged by adversity, even in his college days. There was a time where Hurts considered never touching a football again in his life.
Benched in the middle of a National Championship game. Losing to the cheifs in superbowl LVII. They never talk about how he lead his team to the Super Bowl in 2023, they only talk about how he lost. Questioning his capabilities as a QB. They've always doubted him. A story of true perserverence. A core value of Hurts' fraternity, Omega Psi Phi.
They say "Winning after a loss is the hardest feat in professional sports". On Sunday night, Super Bowl LIX, Hurts proved that he was more than the average run of the mill QB. He proved that despite what they say, the impossible is possible. He didn't just win, he and his flock dominated. 34 consecutive unanswered points. Keeping Mahomes behind the 50 yard line until the 3rd quarter. A near perfect passing rating. I believe the reason the Birds went so hard, is because they have a great leader. A leader who never let a hard time humble him. He kept his faith, held his ground, and let his team to the Lombardi
So to all the people, who've been hating on my Quarterback, doubting him since COLLEGE. Disrespecting my Quarterback. 2024-2025 Super Bowl MVP Jalen Hurts. I have a question to you.
It Hurts, doesn't it?
