Is DEI contributing to racial discrimination and is the ban justifiable?
My reading led to a lot of confirmation about my prior beliefs about racial ideologies in America. Given, I read a CNN article, os it is going to be biased. The article said how businesses that involved DEI in their training and management became much more inclusive environments, making people feel safer. Some people think that DEI widens the gap of racial segregation in social groups. DEI allows people who are a part of a minority to have equal opportunity. Large corporations such as Walmart and Target have withdrawn their DEI initiatives. From an outside perspective, these managers have either withdrawn because they felt they needed to due to Trump's policy or they agreed with the policies to get rid of it.
