Background to my inquiry: I am interested in this topic because I am becoming more of a reader. My sister has always been a huge reader, and I myself have not! I’ve realized that when I am reading, I enjoy reading, I just often lack the motivation to start. This got me thinking about why certain people enjoy reading and why others don’t.

Where is my thinking: From my reading and annotations so far, I have learned a little about the different factors that contribute to people's enjoyment of reading. Mostly, people's enjoyment of reading comes from the reading skills they possess. In other words, if you are better at reading, you typically enjoy it more. I think my inquiry may be more difficult than I originally thought. It seems there are many more factors which contribute to ounces snake of enjoyment when reading. All of these factors display ad weigh differently on different individuals. Although I still think this inquiry is important and intriguing.
