I have learned that the LGBTQ+ community is at major risk. A lot of married queer people and trans people are at the most risk. Trump has put a ban on getting gender affirming surgery before the age of 18, which makes no sense. He has also sent the same-sex marriage court case back to the Supreme Court for review. Many queer communities in blue states are creating foundations to provide as much care as possible to trans people without getting shut down. The ACLU is bringing up multiple court cases against the Trump administration because the laws they are passing are unfair and unconstitutional. They are fighting mainly for queer marriage and trans healthcare right now.
