There is an increased number of babies born in 2007. As a continuation of a long time trend of increasing birth rates, 2007 stands to be the biggest year for births. This comes with the prediction of competitiveness, especially when it comes to college. The graduating class of 2025 will stand to have the most person to person competition when looking for acceptance to college institutions. I am currently thinking that the trend in birth rates may render the 2007 max out of date. Birth rates are projected to platoe and then fall, following a general population graph. I want to do more research into the effect of the births rates in the future and the subsequent future predictions for college acceptance competition.
