This article talks about some of the reasons why Americans schools are highly unsuccessful. It mostly talks about solutions to these problems and some actions we can take to provide a much better and more realistic education for our youth. One of the main focuses was engagement. THis is so important because the student is ultimately in control of how much they learn. If we can get kids excited about learning it will be much more successful. The article also addressed the fact that schools don’t really prepare students for the real world. This seems like an obvious flaw in our system, but we have yet to do anything about it.
