Deseret news acknowledges that there has been a 96% increase in homelessness since 2019.
Many people assume that utah doesn't struggle with homelessness because it has have the percent of the national average.
When it comes to the topic of homelessness in Utah, most of us will readily agree that we have a high rate of homelessness. Where this agreement usually ends, however, is on the question of how much we have compared to the national average. While some are convinced that we need to work to decrease it, others believe that we worked enough.
