The value of a country begins within the heart of its history not because of its latest stores or whatever the newest generational trend is going on. It should be based on its history that occurred over the past decades that shaped its country, Which is why the law of historic preservation is important to a country because those buildings, cars etc should be protected and saved.
The National Historic prevention act is not only important for the looks and beauty of a city or country but also important towards the community which is supported In source A. “The national Historic preservation act was tied to a growing awareness of a growing community identity.” As younger generations in the community began to grow up and learn things they need to be able to be inspired to be like those that were once before them to be the next great and make a change. Also it is great for people out there that are infatuated with history and “who wanted to experience the past in the way that no book or documentary could match” ( source A).
Every country is recognized because of some historical event that occurred at a building, park, house etc. Those “historical structures that had played an important part of the story of creating our nation” (Source B). This evidence plays an important part on oppositions that are not in favor of the preservation act because they feel as these buildings have a ‘Lack of relevancy” or take away from “New Development” (source D). From a younger mindset on history I know a handful of knowledge about my country's history but I'm sure there are those out there just like me that would like to get to know more, And those older that have an impact on our community should not be able to take away from us getting to learn. By them taking away their buildings and artifacts we have to still see.
