There have been many times when I’ve used Jackie Robinson’s core values in my own life. His values include courage, determination, teamwork, persistence, integrity, citizenship, justice, commitment, and excellence . They help break barriers and overcome challenges in many different ways. Both Jackie Robinson and I relied on courage, commitment, and teamwork to face difficulties and push through obstacles. By staying committed to our goals, working together with others, and showing courage in tough situations, we were able to overcome challenges and break down barriers, just as Jackie did throughout his remarkable journey

I showed courage to ignore people and continue doing my work and paying attention in class, even though there were bullies saying hurtful things about my father.
