Step 1: Create and exciting, energy-filled, alluring headline or title. Go back the AI button to the right of *General Discussion Comments and select the *Thinking Partner* to get ideas for your title or headline. You can change the title on your document by going to *More* > *Properties* > *Edit* > Scroll down to find the title box. > Change the title. > Be sure to hit the *Finish* button in the lower right corner of the page.
Step 2: Compose a two sentence "deck," which is a two-sentence paraphrase that previews the main points of your article. It is the first thing a reader sees on the Youth Voices public collection located directly under the article title. It's a way for you to promote the article and to get more people to read and comment on your work. You can ask the *Thinking Partner* to help you with this. Hit *Your Thoughts* to compose your deck for later when you add your document to the Youth Voices public collection.
Step 3: You need an image when you add your document to the Youth Voices public collection. If you already have an image on your document, download that one. If you don't have one yet, you can either search for one or use the *Thinking Partner* to get a description for an AI image generator. You can get access to our AI image generator either by clicking on the *Add an AI-generated Image* button at the bottom of your text or in the left pane or by starting a *New Conversation* under *Comment Options* and clicking *Add an AI-generated Image* there.
Step 4: Go to *More* and click *Add to a Collection*. Select *Youth Voices.* If Youth Voices is not an option for you yet, go join the Youth Voices group first, which you can do here: https://writingpartners.net/groups/77. In the *Excerpt* box, write or paste your 2-sentence "deck" or sub-headline. Choose a file to *Add an Image*, then hit the *Add* button.
Step 5: Once your document is added to the *Youth Voices* collection, take some time to read and comment on the other documents that you will find there. Remember that once you open a document, you can comment by referring to specific sentences or paragraphs or the whole document. You can also comment on any images, audio, or videos that you find. Another option is to write replies to other people's comments. Thank you for participating on *Youth Voices*!
