Here is how to work with your writing group and how to add Writing Partners into the oral and written feedback that you give each other.

  1. "Upload" your argument to a document.
  2. "Invite" your teacher and the other members of your writing group to the document.
  3. Read your text aloud. Make general oral comments, then select the first Writing Partner, below on the left, and read the results aloud to the group.
  4. Read your text aloud again. All members of your writing group should comment in writing by double-clicking on a sentence or paragraph or the entire document. Then "Ask AI" and choose the second Writing Partner, below. Again, read the results aloud to each other.
  5. Get an overall rating on all of the questions on the Using Sources Tool, then focus in on two areas for revision. Select the Writing PartnerFeedback on 2 of 8.
  6. Continue with the other questioins by commenting yourselves, then "Ask AI" and choose the Writing Partner that is associated with each question. Focus on the two questions and the Writing Partners that will help you the most as your revise your argument.
