Bio
My name is Isa. I was born August 27th which makes me a Virgo and I am a student, artist, engineer, and creative based in Philadelphia. I come from a Jamaican Mother and an African American Father. I was born in Queens, New York, and lived there for many of my formative years. I like to create experimental and semi-provocative art that incorporates themes of engineering.
For me, I would have to say my favorite color is purple. Growing up, red was always my favorite color because of how vibrant it is, and my second favorite was pink because of how it was considered “feminine”. I feel like purple takes the “feminity” and thought-provokingness of pink and the vibrance of red and combines it. And although red and blue make purple, I think it’s more interesting to think of the color in this way.
My main skills are in entomology, computer science, bioengineering, and creating ideas that other people can reside with and recreate within their minds. these have always been my main interests since I was a kid. One of my main goals that I want to complete in my lifetime is to create something so integral to daily life to the point where I am forgotten but my creation remains so important that no one forgets it.
