Bio
I am The captain of my track team. It is very important to me because I love being a leader and it makes me love my sport more. I dream of getting recruited by Howard University for the long jump and triple jump. I do hair on the side, mainly male hair/. It’s quicker for me to do natural twists, braids, cornrows, and more. Doing hair brings me closer to my culture and understand current trends. It makes me happy to see people full of joy after having their hair done. I love writing and reading my poetry. Music fuels my poetry, as well as my personal feelings. When I have an intense personal feeling I tend to listen to music and that allows me to combine the two words and pour them onto my paper. I also love listening to it. I have my clothing brand called Eternal Minds. There was a very long process behind my brand Eternnall Minds, It took me and my co-owner and about a year to put this idea together, as well as act on it and make it real. I love advocacy and activism it brings me lots of joy to fight for rights that directly impact not just me but other black girls and women. Activism shapes my entire life, in my day-to-day life I mention the work I do as well as ideas that are very meaningful to me an example would be the fact that there is a lack of data collected about the adultification of black girls. I am very interested in possibly becoming a lawyer and I know I want to major in Business in college. I also love to watch sci-fi movies and dystopian movies.
